Fine Rake Screens




Fine Rake Screens are used for in-channel primary filtration. They are an advance on Automatic Bar Screens. A wedgewire screen is used as the filtration surface and the solids collected on the screen are hoisted by an elevating rake. The screen aperture is selected according to the material to be filtered.



FEATURES

  • Able to remove a wide range of particles (0.2-20 mm)

  • Simple, automatic equipment suitable for unmanned operations

  • No need for secondary screening

SUITABILITY
  • Removal of medium to large matter in sewage treatment plants (10-20 mm)
  • Primary filtration in sewage treatment plants (0.5-5 mm)
  • Primary filtration in tanneries, dye houses, pulp and paper plants (0.5-2mm)
  • Primary filtration in abattoirs and meat processing plants (1-2 mm)
